greetings from the midwest camille. Isnt traveling great? Its perhaps my favorite thing to do....experience other places. Are you looking to travel outside the US or simply just travel around the country? Both are solid options :) But if you wanna drive up to KS here in the summer (Early June) you can come experience the wakarusa music festival and ofcourse have a place to call home. Thanks for joining the forums, and WELCOME! If theres anything you need just let me know.
    PEACE

    Hey there and welcome[IMG]
You sound alot like me in a way.. though Ive already travelled abit. Ive been to japan[IMG] [if thats the basis of the thread name].. and hope to see some more of SE ASia as soon as I graduate from highschool. Ive been saving a long time now working in a restaurant... And I am currently taking a TEFL course (teach english as a foreign language) so that I can maybe make a little money during my travels. I am rediculously excited too[IMG]...
...Where are you planning on going? For how long? What will you do?
All j/w questions.. you dont need to answer and if you are like me you wont be able to.

I'm new to hipforums as well.. so take care and hope to see you around.
    love tom

Hey and welcome! I just joined myself, so you are the first person I've said "hello" to.
Travel is great and I love it - do as much as you can while you are young. My wife and I are currently in Santa Clara, CA for a 1 year vacation. (We have only 2 more months here, and then it is back home to South Carolina). I highly recommend the S.F. Bay area for your travels. We finally got to see the original epicenter for it all - the Haight-Ashbury district. It's changed a lot from the pictures taken in the 1960's, but still very cool to see. If you'd like, I'll send you our list of must see "hippie destinations" that we visited in the neighborhood. For me, it had been a dream to visit here since I was your age.
