the dead at alpine valley....

i know you cannot camp directly at alpine valley....they send the cops around after the show telling people to leave......

i'm not sure about camping in the surrounding area.....i'm sure there is camping somewhere....we're going to see about staying with a friend who works on an organic farm up there.....

 

Yep Mukwonago is a good spot. Stay away from Bong & Kettle Moraine the cops are dicks there.

There is also a place behind Alpine. A farmer rents out his field for $10 a person. If you get there early enough and drive around you can find it. I wish I knew what road it was on.

SO WHO WENT??? GOD, IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! SO SO SO MUCH FUN! I stood at the edge of the lawn... on the 'moat' or whatever they called it! It was so fun... we danced the whole time and people just kept bringing us beer... God, I loved it so much! It woulda been so cool to have a little Hipforum's meeting up there. I think I might head up again on the 8th to see Dave play. Not sure, but it'd never top the Dead!

I WAS THERE...IT WAS SOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN...I WAS KINDA UPSET W/ THE SONGS THEY PLAYED THOUGH...I WANTED TO HEAR SHAKE DOWN STREET!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT IT WAS STILL A FABULOUS TIME!

 

well....i wanted to hear scarlet>fire......but i was actually most impressed with the songs they chose to play.....

at bonnaroo you could tell warren was a bit uncomfortable yet playing with them.....but he was on fire on saturday......

It was so amazing for me. Just being around such generous, kind, caring people has given me so much faith! You NEVER see that anymore... people are mostly rude, ignorant, selfish dickheads. I absolutely fell in love with the thought- no, the truth, that people are still GOOD.

 

I got home last night from Deer Creek. What a great couple of shows!! I wish I was in Detroit right now That Reuben & Cerise was kick ass.

i got my almanac in the mail the other day.....and it made me want to be on tour.....this tour seems to be quite amazing so far....and its only just begun!

 

I was going to go, and we actually drove up there, but then I got sick But then we were able to get tickets for Ohio (last night..), so I went to that one instead.
