Yeah, the London underground is a weird place. People sitting opposite eachother staring. I don't like it. But I do try to read other peoples papers, lol.

When I'm entering stuff on the computer at work, my clients just stare into my face. This is something I've never liked but I am getting used to it. Sometimes when I'm waiting for a screen to come up I'll pretend I'm reading something just to keep myself busy while they stare at me. It's frickin whacked.

I hare knowing people are looking at me. It always makes me worried I might blush, or trip over or do something else stupid.

I know what you mean m8. Everytime I commute on the underground I always see at least one nutter! Their either asking everyone for money or someone is ready to kick off. It usually happens in between Stockwell Station and Clapham....

Don't you just hate it when those refugees start playing that bloody instrument
then his wife (carrying the token new born baby) shakes that poxy money pot in everyones face... I bet they make more than most working class citizens through benefits alone

When people stare at me, I keenly stare at them right back - for me, it usually stops them from staring.

this is really simple. if you don't want people to stare at you don't attract attention to yourself, either by your appearance or your actions.

if you do, they will. period.

for me it depends on what i'm doing or trying to do at the time.
if i'm trying to do anything i have to think about very much i prefer to be completely alone to do that anyway.

if you are where there are people there are going to be some who will look.
it would be unnatural for people to attempt to not look at each other at all.

i prefer to look at nature and buildings and machines to looking at human people anyway. what really annoys me, is when someone parks themselves in the way of what i'm looking at or watching and then acts all offended because their ego insists that i'm somehow offensively looking at them. idots who do that need to be stripped and whipped.

I make as much eye contact with people as possible, especially strangers.

I get extremely paranoid if people stare at me. If they continue to stare after I tell them to stop I get pissy and violent.

Haha, yeah, and they're always there hustling. They must be loaded, lol. But I mainly use the Jubilee line and there doesn't seem to be too many of them using that line.

But rush hour is bad on the tube cause it's so packed full of people in bad moods, and they're always staring with that bad look on their face.
