Ideal (head) hair length on a woman?

I recently had a conversation with a guy who said he wouldn't date a woman with short hair (I mean short like say above ear length). This was regardless of whether she had a hot body, was intelligent, they had stuff in common, etc. He just point blank finds women with short hair unattractive.

It got me thinking. For all the hetero/bi guys and lesbian/bi girls out there: What is your ideal hair length for a woman? What do you find most attractive?

 

Oh it doesn't much matter for me, but I'd have to say the perfect length would be right around middle of the back, only because that's how long I'm growing my own hair. It's my preference, I suppose. But it's just a preference, I love all kinds of hair. =)

 

Woah ho ho! Women with short hair....RAR! Hold me back! Seriously, take an already good looking girl, cut her hair above-the-ear short, maybe spike or style it up a bit, and I lose all semblance of self control or rational thought. Seriously. Rar! It's one of the things I specifically look for.

Oh well, if that guy won't date 'em, that mean's theres more for me!

 

A woman was meant to have long hair in my opinion....the longer the better.sorry ladies but a woman with short hair especially above the ears just makes me think they are wanting to be a man more so than a woman.Just my opinion...and not implying anything

 

I can understand how you would think that. I don't think that short hair makes a woman less feminine, or long hair makes a man moreso, neccesarily. Hair length by gender is really a completely social construction, there's no natural reason for girls to grow long hair and men to grow short. In general though, gender is moderately subjective, even though the things we associate with each gender can be very pervasive in our given culture.

Exactly. Long straight hair (or a little wavy) and the longer the better.

 

There's actually nothing contradictory about what hippyfreakdude said, his opinion on what is sexy has no relation to what he thinks people should or should not do. I think short hair is sexy, but I don't think everyone should walk around with short hair, even if I would like it .

 

i think long hair is absolutly stunning but i really think short hair is sexy if you can pull it off even like really short hair

I've always prefered six inches beyound the shoulders, straight and dark

 

by that kind of logic, any guy with long hair wants to be a woman.
