Dead A note that read - Dear Mom, I tried so hard to be what you wanted me to be, but I failed. Please forgive me, I hope this will make it right. Dead A note that read - Dear Dad, You told me all my life not to be weak. You taught me that when you make a mistake, you have to fix it. I made a mistake, and this is the only way I can think of to fix it. Dead A note that read - Dearest Mother and Father, I am a pervert. I am unclean. I don’t want you to have to live with the shame of me. Please pray for my soul, I know I’m going to Hell. Dead A note that read - Why couldn’t you just love me? Too late A revelation - when you teach your children hate, you plant the seeds of your own sorrow.
no, its just very close to home, and i expect people are afraid to really consider what you are saying. its the most uncomfortable piece of honist writing. and very painful.
This is an uncomfortable piece, but it was meant to be. I just thought there were more brave and honest people here, so I would get some comments. I'd even like to hear from those who hated it.
I personally thought it was a great read. I expecially liked the last paragraph and how it had such a strong message - thank you!
As a big fan of darker poetry, I do like this one a lot. It shows and expresses the intensity of the emotion behind it. Suicide is a powerful subject to begin with, but I do believe this captures it well. It's also something I can connect with personally, as suicidal feelings have been no stranger in my life. I find poetry like this inspirational.
dunno much bout poetry... jus like the flow of this one.. love the last parah "Too late A revelation - when you teach your children hate, you plant the seeds of your own sorrow." true. i like this style of poetry.. waiting to see more thnk yu

thats what i love about your poetry, you capture that true real amotions.the truth is what frees people.i've felt like that .me personally i think it real, raw and everything that poetry should be.it takes guts to just tell the truth and not hide behind a mask.
It might also have been stated: "Exclusivity breeds contempt." But the message might then have been too subtle.
Thank you all. I've been awfully busy lately, so I haven't been on to respond to comments, but life's getting back into it's groove now, so hopefully I'll be here more often to let you know how much I appreciate you!
