Hey sorry to sound like such a newbie but I really appreciate any advice you all can give. I have smoked a good amount of fairly dank shit here in the US but wouldn't consider myself a "hardcore" smoker. Can anyone recommend some strains in Amsterdam that are a little on the "ligher side"? I like a really mellow, relaxed high...not as much a fan of trippy mind high. Just looking for some good strains to try for my first few times. Thanks
Sour Diesel from Amnesia. Great little shop, wonderful people and ambiance and as long as you smoke on arelatively regular basis youll love the taste and it wont knock you flat on your ass!!!!
actually the original poster said he wanted something on the lighter side, NOT a trippy mind high. This would mean NOT A SATIVA It was the first person who replied to that post who recommended sour diesel. So ur either wasted or trying too hard!!!! So to the original poster, just ask your coffeeshop attendant for a tasty indica!
Go to one of the better places like Homegrown Fantasy or Amnesia or Tweed Kammer and ask the budtender. Most places will give you good advice - especially when they are not overly busy. Strains change somewhat. Your tolerance changes. Make a small joint - if you want more roll another.
Gladden - you should definitely seek out a good indica if you want a "body" high rather than a "cerebral" high, or maybe you should try some hash instead... The forum on the ACD site is good for weed reviews too.

Just returned yesterday and can suggest some really great herb. Since you say you are use to smoking, there is really no weed over there that will need to avoid. Suggestions: Early Pearl from Bajoes, easily the best weed I smoked while there. Sweet Tooth and Morning Glory from Barney's. Also supreme smoke. Blueberry is great, dont remember where i bought it though. If you want to really get stoned out of your mind, try some dutch moonshine(hash) from dampkring.
