I was told that there was something odd or weird about dreaming in colour, because I always do... although wasn't explained why. Why do you suppose that is? Has anyone heard of that?

yeah i heard of that... one of my friends asked me that too. I think she said that she dreams in black and white. Don't know the significance though...

"There is no experimental proof I have seen of this, but researchers agree that most dreams are in color. However, because the dream fades so quickly after we awake, our memories of the dream are often recalled in gray tones. Studies show that those who are in tune with color in waking life tend to remember more color in dreams as well."

not only full color but full surround sound, tactile sensations and smellovision!
distinguishable from waking life only by differently behaving physics and way more sensible sentient society.

yes i believe it is almost purely to do with remembering dreams.

however, people more in tune with colour may simply have more colourful dreams. or moreso, people who are less in tune with colour may have colourless dreams. dreams, afterall, are developed in your mind, and if your mind percieves colour but doesnt give much significance to it, your dreams will simply not involve the same colour as most people

i think your probably right. that's the impression i get too.

i know i focus more on the kind of world i'd rather, and we could all so easily, if so many people weren't brainwashed into making other things more important to them, be living in, and some of the tecnological details of it, and not usualy nearly as much on individual persons or interacting with them.

(although i don't think that's the end of the story. there's also that spirit/cosmic 'internet' connection (which doesn't to me appear to take forms insisted on by any known belief either))

Whoever voted "I don't dream.." everyone dreams. It's just a matter of whether you remember them or not.

I dream in colour, and everything in my dreams is really realistic.
