I've been told that while on the pill, which I am, it's best to take it at the same time everyday. Now, I haven't been missing any pills, but a few times right before i've gotten my period (my most fertile time of the month) ive forgotten to take it on time, maybe half an hour late or so. We don't use condoms, and he doesn't always pull out?

Is this much more risky than at other times of the month?

half an hour either way is usually still quite safe

it's when you're hours off that it becomes a concern

Actually, it doesn't really matter the time of day you take it. As long as you take it within something like 6 hours of the time you usually take it.

I spoke to my doctor, and have read some sources, and it doesn't matter so much the precise time you take it. Taking it at a certain time each day is pretty much just to jog your memory and make it routine.
