Nail Polish

GRRR. I tried to put on this stuff I got for xmas from my grandma, it's a fast drying type. Well, it dried -too- fast, now it looks like shit on my one finger and I don't have any nailpolishremover to get rid of it. GRRR

ah, I never wear nail polish usually, how bout you?

It makes my fingers feel weird, like they can't breath properly or something. Plus i rarely get it looking really nice

 

I dont like nail polish.
I wear it only once and i hated it,it looked like shit!And it was black,not nice!
And i only did it,coz my friend wanted me to.

 

Not often. I like getting a french manicure though. Its one of the few girly things Im into.

I've never had a real manicure, not like a professional one or anything

but I did file my nails downa little today, rather than cutting them.... it was nice and kinda therapeutic, just sitting and thinking n suchlike

 

I've got some on right now because I wanted my nails to look pretty for last night. My hubby and I went to a ball and I wanted my nails to look all snazzy. I did them up a deep metallic pink and sprinkled silver glitter all over them. They looked pretty sweet!

But normally my nails are bare.

Oh it was really nice. The food was absolutely delicious, they had an open bar, the band was awesome, and my hubby and I danced together, which is something I LOVE to do.

 

I only wear nail polish on my toes, never on my fingers. I have blue toenails now.

 

i cant say that ive ever really worn nail polish

 

i wear a clearcoat on my nails to keep them looking good i also get manicures from time to time

 

i do my toenails and fingernails in dark blue or purple.

 

Ihmurria, if you want to get rid of the nailpolish and you're out of nail polish remover: glob on a thick coat of a non quick-drying nail polish and quickly wipe it off with a tissue or cloth...it should remove at least some of the dry polish (it's worked for me at least).

I look god-awful in most non-nude nail polish on my hands so I usually just buff my nails and apply a clear/nude coat, but my toes are almost always a deep red.

 

I have red nail polish on my toesnails - and chipped, black nail polish on my fingernails.

actually, when i was younger i used to paint my nails a greenish-blue color for swimming. kinda like a distraction tactic. it worked on some people.

 

If I do it my self I just use nude or clear. Even professionaly done I still pick out flaws and am like uhm that doesnt look neat and then still fix it when I get home so I always go with really light natural looking colors and then if you mess up no biggies. Plus I work with kiddies and once I went into work prior to a conference with a burgundy mani/pedi and they wanted to know what color it was and where they could get it): The teen girls are so impressional to the staff so I try really hard to be modest but yeah even just clear on my nails rocks and there's no chance fucking that up.

I'm horrendus at painting my nails, and its hard to track down decent polish. Dior nail polish is really good I have a bottle of it in baby pink. Revlon polish sucks for the most part (although I really shouldnt say that because I sell it) as does most of the cheaper brands. Im tired a fighting a losing battle with trying to make my nails look nice. Im gonna buy stick ons when I have some spare cash.
