i don't like pancakes at all but i will confirm that u.s. pancakes are different from dutch pancakes.
check out the "noon" there blue berry bud is awsome i got some really good hash at the bushdocters down stairs at the dolphin was a cool place to chill a must stop.... the amneisa great pot and hash try the brain ticket ice-o-later hash another out-of-the place to chill is the paradox
the noon has great blueberry and blueberry isolater hash bushdoctor specializes in haze and haze crosses (get the black domina x haze) bluebird has excellent blond and black hash...also has jamaican red hair skunk that is top quality at bargain prices. BE SURE to try warlock AND sage de dampkring: i recommend hash and kali mist from here. they have moonshine hash which is VERY POTENT and rifman hash which supposedly is a guy who pays extra money to mj growers to take better care of the crops and keep it all organic. Homegrown Fantasy: nice people...nice shop....cool bathroom with blacklights (yes urine will glow!) Coffeeshop Anyday: lots of locals, one of the first shops to support vaporizing Barneys: try the silverblue weed and the barneys rubble hash La Canna: very touristy...best purple haze i've ever had though...100 percent purple color with pure pine haze taste Grey Area: excellent smoke...grey mist crystals are killer (kif) ak47 is excellent, grey mist, bubblegum Abraxas: excellent ambiance and decor coupled with a decent menu. three floors! Amnesia: excellent ambiance and eastern opium den decor, volcano vaporizor, excellent menu and right by grey area. make sure to get the amnesia haze and mk ultra!
Very interesting Koopa, ive taken note of all that and will be sure to try as many of them Coffee Shops as poss. Bush Doctor is certainly sounding good for the haze's !!
while your at the bushdoctor.....greenhouse namaste is close by. Its much more cozy and empty than the other 2 greenhouse coffeeshops. Not the best place, but worth a stop if your in the area and have EXTRA TIME. If your on a tight schedule, i really recommend THE NOON while you are near the bushdoctor. THE NOON is so quaint.....located on a quiet block with a canal, has great big glasses of hot tea, simply is THE place for anything involving blueberry. If pressed for time, La Canna should be the first place on my list to eliminate. enjoy!
We're there thurdsday 2pm-ish till monday 6pm-ish so got plenty of time for coffee shops !! We'll be taking one day out to just simply visit as many coffee shops as poss (following a map to save time...) so should get to plenty. Could you point me in the right direction of some Stella Blue ? Heard its one of the best day time smokes about but never tried it on my previous visits. Cheers
stella blue can be purchased at coffeeshop amnesia. along with mk ultra, shiva, sour diesel, amnesia haze, and some great hash.
As daft as it sounds, on my 3 previous visits to dam I have never bought any hash at all. Im so used to weed in England cos the hash/resin here is so poor I have never thought about buying any in dam. I am certainly going to change that this time though !! Where can you recommend for some of the best hash that dam has to offer and in your opinion are there are any hash's not to be missed ? You certainly know your stuff anyway... Do you live in dam ?
coffeeshops to vist for hash: the noon - blueberry isolater hash dampkring - moonshine hash greenhouse - super blond palm, king hassan palm dolphins - royal dolphin hash chocolata - choco skuff (made from chocolate tasting choco mist herb) bushdoctor - isolater hash (sometimes they have pure haze isolater bluebird - too many good kinds to name and keep current on. but there nepalese was ALWAYS good dread rock - see if they have ak47 isolater hash sheeba - caramelo cream hash old church - royal cream hash not from the dam but its my home away from home
Nobody's mention Baba yet. http://www.babashops.nl/ Actually I have no idea if their shit is any good or not but always start there having bought my weed at Greyarea. At Baba have a nice spaceshake and hash brownie then enjoy a smoke and have a nice cup of tea which comes served with a very enjoyable biscuit. Nice wood carvings and two 'comfy couches' where you have the opportunity to chat to others, or if there is a group of you you can all chill. Then off down the narrow lane to Abraxas, look to see if you can find the Supper Club which is opposite I think for later that evening?! Ummm then continue to Dampkring to play with the stoned cat who will walk all over you and your shit if your sat at the bar....usually there are some nice looking birds working at the Dampkring too.....well thats how I usually start anyhoos.
the biscuts they serve at Dampkring are out of this world. I meant to buy a box of them on my last trip but could not find where to get them. Gonna keep a wrapper this time...
If I have to recommend one - for selection, for quality & for service Tweede Kamer. I've never sat in (it's a small place) but I've returned home to the joy of excellent hash and grass via takeout on a number of occasions. I've always chosen one and taken a recommendation from their selection and it's been all good. It's safe to say that TK has supplied me with my highest high and my stoniest stone in Am'dam. If you're ever near the Bullwinckle down Deflandesplein way you should check it out (and not only because it's the only place around!)
I'd go to Homegrown Fantasy. Really decent people - friendly atmosphere - good herb. I found that place really nice. Amnesia and Hunters Bar also fit that description.
I just got back yesterday, some of the coffeeshops not near the RLD that are a must go, Barneys, Basjoe, and Katsu.
Yay finally something about Popeyes. It's going to be close to where I'm staying and I planned to make it my stop shop. I'm going to try many coffeeshops and buy stuff elsewhere, but since this is close I'm going to "pop" in here more (lol ok so I like a good play on words). I am also going to be right next to the Doors on the Singel... how is that place? Any of you Dam experts know? Peace, islandgurl
The Doors is one of my own favorites. Nice guys who work there and an overall good vibe. I myself also like Central, near the Central Station. Small place and good personell
