The Time Machine? That was a disgrace to the already shitty H.G. Wells book.

That movie was beyond terrible...it was hollywood terrible.

One of the worst movies I had the pleasure of watching.

Never read the book but I enjoyed both movies.

I thought the Guy Pearce one was a very good movie. It's probably the only time travel movie ever made that isn't riddled with plot flaws and I have a lot of respect for it for that reason alone. I really liked the addition of the computer, too. That was a very clever touch.

The only thing I didn't quite get was why the moon was coming down. Maybe I missed that part? Also, I didn't like the ending where everything blew up and all the baddies were defeated. A bit too cheesy and a bit too 'Hollywood'.

I used to love Neighbours as a kid with Guy Pearce as Mike Young. It's quite cool to see him and his co-stars in these massive blockbuster films. Remember Alan Dale as Jim Robinson? He's been in loads of big stuff too, like 24, X-Files, The OC and Star Trek Nemesis.

the moon broke up because the orbit was screwed up. remember when he went and saw orlando the librarian there were ads in the back ground for "lunar living".

he was in neighbors??? hahahaha shite.
yeah ending was cheesy. after irons tells him the deal he kills him. how nice. lol

The moon broke up because they detonated a nuclear bomb to make a hole or something for condos !

So... if the moon broke up, would that make it fall to Earth?

I would have thought it more likely that the pieces stayed in orbit. Although I'm no astronomer.

Woah. Whenever I trip on foxy (5-MeO-DiPT) I always see the ords Tyme Machine all over my ceiling. In fact they illuminate in green and purplish colors. It reminds me of Austin Power letters for some reason. But anyways I've tripped about six or seven times on that drug and everytime I see those words. In fact it has inspired me to name my band "Tyme". I'm sure you'll hear about us in the near future because we will be the Led Zeppelin or Thea Beatles of our generations. Maybe not that exact style of music but we will be influencal.

I know my post does not relate to this thread at all but when reading the title, I felt that I needed to say this.

Have a nice (a.k.a. better than decent) day :).
    Peace
