On Thursday I gave blood when our school had a blood drive. A pint. Today I smoked, and on the first (granted, huge) hit, I got unbelievably stoned. Heart thumping, head pulsing.. so out of it.. is it because I gave blood? I hadn't smoked in only about 5 days.
I doubt its from giving blood, cause you would've gotten it back. I say its because you took a small break

actually, it would make a difference because giving blood is like a mini blood transfusion.. except youre giving it quickly and getting it back over time. the new blood that is made is thinner and cleaner than the blood you used to have, so you would be more susceptable to gettin stoned
Plus other variables like the break, potency of weed, the chemical compositioon of your body and mind at that point in time..
I havent even tried to donate blood. They would probably discard it based on the amount of various drug metabolites in it at any given point in time haha
They don't ask or test for drugs, they only ask if you've used needles. I don't think that drugs stay in your blood fairly long. Most drugs other than pot are out of your system in 1-3 days, and pot is only in your blood for a few days, after that it's stored in your fat and discarded in your piss. You should donate blood. edit: I've given blood a few times, and I've never felt any more high even later that day.
I'm really glad I did. It'll help someone in the future. It was my first time, but it actually wasn't bad. Hurt a tiny bit when they put the needle in, then I was fine. A little light headed for 5 minutes, and out of it for a few hours.. but the next day I was completely back to normal..that's why I didn't expect such a strong reaction today.
