These are actually the lyrics to a song. I haven't finished the music yet, but the song is slow and ambient. Without the music, the flow of the words might seem strange, but for the time being you can make of it what you will Enjoy! (Altar of) Seasons A distant rain is coming... I look deeply at everything Moving along on my way Don't know my direction for today I've been deep on the outside I Make myself at home, the breeze touches my face Wander to find my place Chorus Sometimes our hearts turn to stone And at the alter of seasons The wind pronounces our due course I see my shadow upon the ground And remember how I've learned from the darkness, the best teacher of the light I've left the chosen way, I cry Forgotten lessons, they dance upon my face Awaken the morn' restless and tired Causing an addiction unto yourself, a craving and a sigh I've seen my heaven and I've seen my hell No distant place to go...there already here Chorus Sometimes our hearts turn to stone And at the alter of seasons The wind pronounces our due course Pines swaying with the wind Bamboo torches alight in the night-afire The light of fire always reveals the shadows of the dark Allowing you to see your way Tonight, sit and relax awhile by the fire light Tomorrow we can move along on our way You've wandered on...you've found your place We found our direction today...
