Sorry to bore you with my photos. I just couldn't resist this shot. She just woke up from a nap and was just relaxing.
beautiful baby. Makes my heart ache to be able to hold my own little girl! Must be patient though, shes still cooking.
Oh my. She looks so much like my Moon when she was a baby. Love those chubby little cheeks. And fat little thighs. (I want to pinch them. LOL!) What a cutie baby.
She is 10 1/2 months. We've already been planning her 1st birthday. I can't believe it. Seems like I was just pregnant. As for her legs, they are huge!!! One of my older girls said the other day, that she is so fat because she is full of milk. She thought her whole body was just made of milk. As much as she eats, I'd almost believe it myself! lol..... Maggie~I'd love to see some pics of Moon as a baby. That's funny that you say they look so much alike!
I don't have any on digital camera. Give me a few days, and I'll scan some in and try to post them. (I have a raging UTI right now, with a fever, and can't even get off the chair, except to go potty, so I'll do this in a few days. )
But, here's what she may look like at 16 or so. Moon (left) on Peace Patrol. Sunshine riding shotgun on your right. (Moon is making a funny face in this, she is a beautiful girl.)
This one may be better. Moon is the one in the Renn dress. Lennon is behind her (before his growth spurt) and Sage is in the tye dye. This was at the Renn Faire, Sunshine was too cool to go, and then got upset when she realized how much fun we had.
She's beautiful! All your kids are beautiful!!! It's so hard to imagine Bella being that old (not that she's old, but, you know what I mean). I can't wait to see what my kids turn into, but at the same time, I don't want them to grow up! How's Sage doing in school? I know.....I'm getting way off topic......lol.........
Thank you! I know, they are lovely kids. (little Renn nerds LOL!) We go through a gallon of No More Tangles a week, it seems like (I think Moon and 19 yr old Sunshine use Frizz Ease or something like that. Both my dh and I are curly. Where Lennon's hair came from, I don't know, my MIL I think. Stick straight. At least there are less tangles than the girls. He wouldn't sit still for a 30 minute detangling session.) I just went to the principal and the teacher on Tuesday to talk about what we will do about Sage. She is starting to not want to go to school every day, because "I don't have to play with friends EVERY day, and the work is baby work." So, as we are waiting for an appointment with a Developmental Psychologist, who will do a complete battery of IQ and intellectual and developmental tests, the school did consent to doing a few. She started the Second Grade Reading Program on Wednesday. (She's in Kindergarten.) My guess is they are going to HAVE to double promote her, as she will probably be in 4th or 5th grade reading by the end of First grade. If not, I am going to talk to her about homeschooling again, and have to have it out with Bear about it. The principal told me "A lot of kids really 'level out' to their actual grade level by third grade." And seeing as the real pull out gifted program doesn't start UNTIL third grade., I asked her "Are these kids really leveling off or are they giving up and just conforming and letting themselves be dumbed down?" I was really nice about it, but she was quiet for a moment, and said they would do all they could. THEN suggested I consider enrolling her at A&C School for the Gifted. Yeah, AC school wants her, but even with the 50% scholarship they offered her, we would still have to pay $6,250 a year, before books and lab supplies ect. *sigh* We don't have that kind of money, especially with two kids in college next year. Bear is doing a lot of maps and topography with her, and has taught her chess (she nearly beat him a few nights ago, but not quite, if he were a little more drunk, she might have LOL!) and we pulled out the Scrabble game, kid got a score of 94! (only about 25 point behind her papa, who is a smart man, but can't spell,) And our workbooks, and science experiments (just did the 'required" soaking bean seeds and then taking them apart to see the little germ of a plant inside. LOL!) If I am feeling OK this afternoon, we'll go to the library, as that is her favorite place in the world, next to the museum. I took out the baby picture books to find that picture of Moon for you. I had two pics that really reminded me of your baby, and someone had taken them out of the book. I have others, but this one (on her Christening Day) looked JUST like your baby. I'll have to ask the kids who took it. I know Moon had a day at school where they had to bring baby pics, I just hope she didn't lose that one, because I have it right next to a picture of Sunshine (also missing) which looks the same. I have less baby baby pics of her and Lennon than the other two. They were numbers two and three, with older sibs, just a couple of years older, and I was a busy mama. I feel bad we didn't have a video camera then.
awwww! that is sooooo cute! i'm not the first one to say this, but she looks like leane (although, not like the one below.....she was pouting there) but they both have the big eyes, full lips and even same hair! i swear that was a glace into the future!
Thank you. Moon is a beautiful girl. She is a Renniscance (sp) and anime nerd. She had a boyfriend for about a month, and she said "He was a little weird." She matures slowly, and then just WHAM, jumps in with both feet. So, we aren't worried about boys yet. (Bear says he's making a baseball bat out of a 6 by 6 for when boys start coming around for her.) Her older sister is very pretty, too. She was boy crazy since about 9 years old. We had battles about dating. They are as different as Night and Day. (NIght for Moon and Day for Sunshine.) Lennon is starting to STARE at womyn, and nudge his dad. I heard him say "Dad, did you see THOSE?" about a well endowed womyn the other day, and Bear had to take him aside and suggest waiting until the womyn was out of earshot before saying things about her. SHEESH. Luckily, my baby, Sage, thinks she has a boyfreind, but when I asked why I never see him on the bus. She says "Oh, he rides one of those little yellow busses." (My dh thought this was humorous, I told him to shut up.) I'm not too worried about a 6 year old, but have no idea if she will be like one sister or the other when it comes to boys.
