Ok, I Have a little money to get the things I need. I have 3/4 OZ to make some hash with. Can anyone help guide me to making some hash. I want an easy way that will create some potent stuff. Also, how much hash can I expect to get from 3/4OZ bud?

This is my choice method, as it is the most yielding compared to quality. You get very potent, solid oil. Also I find it is the easiest way of making good cannabis product. Its so more potent than hash, but lacks some of the taste All you need is a mason jar, 70% iso alcohol (about 2dollars a pint at walmart) , a cofee filter, a plate. The only side ingredient in your alcohol should be purified water, other ingredients? dont buy. Put your material in a mason jar (5 grams is a good first go), and add 70% isopropylic alcohol, until your whole material is covered, then shake like a madman , for not more than 90 seconds! If you are using shitty stuff, 1minute will do the trick. Then you filter the liquid through a cofee filter or a bubblebag or whatever fine screen, so it drops on a plate. Try to catch the herb in your hand or a kitchen sieve (what I use) when you pour, squeeze everything out of it , cuz herb blocks the cofee filter and itll take a long time. . Then let evaporate in air, or use your mind to find a heat source which will facilitate evap! Be careful, iso alcohol is very volatile! Then when theres no more liquid, take the plate, put it under a fan for an hour or so, and scrape the thin film and put into a ball. You will be very interested by the results, i swear! People will call it hash though, it looks more like it, and its much easier to handle I guarantee you a very good oil product, which can be golden and hard like candy. It's the stuff. Buds will give you about 15-20% yield...About the same as bubbleash with bud, but its jsut more potent I wanna post this method and my ghetto honey oil method but I cant find my f'in camera...why did overgrow have to go . Nayways , maybe im not too clear ask what you need to know if ya wanna try it. When you have bud, I think its better to make oil...keep the leaf for hash Your friends will like this awesome treat btw the site in the last post...It kinda sux. thats basically what I jsut started doing, except im just making it into THC oil..i do same thing except i heat until it starts getting a little thick then i take it off and smoke it like oil off foil..how does that sound? and i let bud soak in alc for 2 hours..then put same amount of alc in and let sit for 1 hour, then i put it over LOW heat till it starts to thicken..
The less time you shake, the more the quality... If you let it 2 hours it will make sticky oil and that what you dont want. The 90 seconds shake is crucial! I guess if you take your 2 hours stuff, redissolve into alchol (if i understand well) , it wont even knock at the door of what you can do with my method. And wait until its completely dry, or else you are smoking alcohol! Never put it on high heat it will fuck up yuor oil, believe me. And gettin pure thc is just a long hard task , and its not worth. Youd have to use alot alot of stuff.
im not shaking it 2 hours..shaking every 20 min for 10 seconds and letting it sit for 2 hours total time..should i stop now? ive been doin it for 1 hour 25 min now..?
No...maybe you misunderstood...I tried to reuse my material once and it gave shit. still fairly stoney but not too interesting texture and look... what part did you see that? Just discard it after you filter. The important thing though is to pour the solution slowly, so the pot doesnt come out of the jar with it, into the filter. Try to catch it in your hand so you can sqeeze the remaining goodness out of it, its still soaked with solution. or catch it in a kitchen sieve then squeeze, much more simple. If you do long extractions like you are tryin to do...youll get more oil of course, but less potent and less interesting to handle, youll get sick of smoking it after a while and always having lots on yyour fingers . Just try a short wash/shake like I do and see what you prefer. Yield or quality? ...I only smoke the oil I make now, and its still my first choice, I never get sick of smokin it...

I think its way too complicated, really old school or sometn. Shorter roads lead to rome. ...And this will give a less potent product. Its just oil i donnow why they labeled it thc...To get pure thc you have to use a variety of chemicals including sulfuric acid...I guess what you could use to get almost pure thc is co2 extraction but thats a kind of complicated game If you are scared of wasting buds...just use like 2 or 3 grams and 75ml of alcohol and shake em 90 seconds if they are really dry, or 2 minutes otherwise...you wont go back If you dont like, find another method . Btw, grind em good before extracting. Real important : Dry it until you touch the plate and it seems like a non sticky crust. A small batch (75 ml alcohol) will take like 15 minutes on low heat, and another 15 minutes under a fan (or not) to make sure everythings being water or alcohol is gone....scrape with a razor blade scraper, they cost like 2 bucks, anything else fails in my opinion... I just put the plate over boiling water for evaporatin...But it condenses on the plate so you need anothr dryin period to finish it off under a fan...
hehe...with the method the site provided? cool. but if it tastes almost nothing its normal, if it taste funny its probably still full of alcohol... Are you gonna try the quick method with 2 or 3 grams?
I want to try your method but i have a few questions. Does it look like tar when its finishd sitting and drying, and how does the alcohol evaporate from the resin completly, and how long will it take if i have a low heat source on it?
no it does not look like tar. Color ranges from dark brown, red,and golden when its at its best. There should be a few cloths of darker matter and the rest is light colored crust. if the cloths look 'wet' , its not ready I guess. Dry dry, its the crucial part
