so far the plan is to reduce tix by 10 k, back to size of '03. All the announcements include AC Entertainment, which seems to be a local big shot promotions group. Anyone have info on these folks so I don't have to pay HiBeam library for access?
i was there in '03 and '04..nothing will top '03...two words: JAMES BROWN!!! its a shame it became so commercialized but your right its STILL for us all about the music they could lower the price tho i mean geez
Music Is The Importance, If You Need To Be Some Where Just To Be "in The Mix" Then You Probally Don't Belong. As For Me I Wish I Could Attend This Year But Do To Prior Oblagations I Will Not. But I Would Never Miss A Gathering Of The Vibes Now That Is Where It's At!!
i went to bonnaroo last year and was really disapointed. It totally sold out to commercialism. MTV will more then likely be there which is and will attract those preppy college kids- not trying to be stereotypical here or anything but i am sure most of you know what i am talking about. Or i could just call them those dumb shit wanna be or they are soriety boys that are spending their parents good ol' earned money. Go to something else i suggest... they got some of the bad ass festy's out there and HEY you'll still have a great time right- 2001 and 2002 were the best years to go to bonnaroo. oh yeah and o3 was alright but maybe there is something out there you haven't found WAY better then bonnaroo
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS SHOW SOME DAMN LOVE...........If all we give is NEGATIVITY then all we will RECIEVE IS NEGATIVATY.......Regardless of who goes show some love to your neighbor's........if they are dumb "frat boys" as you call them, show them what the love of a festival should be.............
Definitly, this may be a good experience for them, open them to new things. The vibes, music, and party favors are all of a different type than mainstream taste, I personally am trying to convince a few of my very MTV-esque friends to go, knowing that my attitude and the attitude of many of the people there will have an influence on them and make them think outside thier own experience. Regardless the diversity in line-up and fans will be a very exciting thing to behold and I am dissopointed it is slandered rather than embraced by many of the recent posters in this and the main BONNAROO 06 thread.
