i like to get really fucking stoned and play my drum set and pretend im keith moon. i love listening to the rolling stones, jimi hendrix i dont know if i spelled that right( i know your thinking, wow this kids a poser he claims he listens to these bands yet knows nothing about them and doesnt even know whos in any of the bands, he doesnt deserve to listen to music), tool, led zeppelin, ac dc, RUSH, the grateful dead, i find this is the combination of inspiration that pumps me up the most which causes me to walk over to my drumset and bust fucking out bro!!!!!! it was like shit bum tsss bum bum tssss bum. then i just go into solo mode and take of my shirt and its like 30 degrees out cuz its western oregon, but i dont care because ill be sweating and my heart will be racing. step up to the throne with a tool song stuck in my head, sit down slip my shoes off step on the pedals, nice and cold. stretch my arms and my hands/fingers and back. pick up my sticks, close my eyes, imagine the perfect stance, with a mind of a metrenome i start counting in my head subconsiously. play with aggression, extreme concentration, stay loose as tiger bill says, i make my own songs incorperating fills and licks and all that stuff that make a songs sound good. then i try to develope my rudimental drumming which is really quite sad. but its still fun. and then good around trying to drum meliodically? melody-iodically(probably not right word) is drumming following melody rather than rythm. the whole experience is so awesome i wish i had some coke. oh did i foul? is this "off topic" or some shit? oh well its 11:16pm right now im listening to tool and i think im going to play the drums, really fucking loud my friends. its late but its okay becuase IM ON CRACK. i broke my bong, i need to get a bowl and the female tube. its a mini like 6 incher its awesome soft glass dark blue with white "cloud" kind of coloring. dundundundundun dundundundundundun dundundundun. rock on brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
