International smoking differences

What are somethings that people around the world do differently dealign with smoking weed.

i.e. rolling techniques etc.

from observation, most popular device in america is pipe, europe is joint, and australia seems bong is overall winner. but i guess thats just with the people i hang out with, i still think its the case, caus of australias bong-culture

 

as in, those are trend differences, not actual statistic based accounts. just the trend of the regions

 

in most of europe hash seems to be more avaliable than buds, but i'm just going off what i've heard.

 

Well the asians here smoke more ritualistically. They have a cutting board, met a guy who had one from cambodia actually, and they take out a big ass knife and chop up the weed and chop up a little tobacco. Then they pack a bamboo bong, that has like a one-two hit (big hit) bowl, and smoke it to their face and the next person does the same.

Us white people have no culture, so this is what we do. We buy a box of phillies brand blunts, or phillies brand mini blunts. Sometimes a garcia vega, but not for me they hurt my throat. A few of my other friends use the dutch masters. I guess in NY the dutchies are popular, I think they taste like shit but hey that's just me. Then we pull the clusters off of the stems (oo soo fun lol) and throw them into a coffee grinder. Spin it a couple times and take a look to see if it's broken up to a good consistency. (Breaking up by hand gets old and the coffee grinder does a nice job of collecting kif on the sides for some finger pressing.) Dump that out onto the tray, then crack the blunt. Lube it up with your tongue, take out the cancer paper if it's not a mini blunt. Then roll that bitch up. We rarely ever smoke pipes, everybody's got one, but it's more for hard times, or for really really heady nuggets. Even then we usually roll blunts. Actually I know a couple poor potheads who use mostly pipes, but it's just cause they're poor. I'm kinda trying to get away from blunts, but almost everybody I know uses them strictly. I've been getting back into joints and have been thorougly pleased.


To add, I am in my early twenties, and most everybody around my generation is like this... I can imagine older or younger people having different ways.

yeh like blunts are never smoked around here, and i dont hear about it much from europe, jsut america mostly.

Some people mix tobacco with their marijuna.

thats like the opposite of what we do around here. we all have glass pipes. mabe a bong here and there. but we only roll blunts on special occasions

We use whatever we have. Joints, Blunts, Pipes, Bongs, and every creation in between.

I have never actually used a bong, and I have only smoked a blunt once or twice. We mainly use pipes and joints.

 

i prefer to smoke a pipe or bong then when im really high ill wait 30 min and ill roll a splif (1/2 tabco 1/2 pot) and chill with that. i can't stand eating it!

Well when I smoke weed and then tobacco it gives me a good head rush feeling. I would guess that smoking them together would achive the same effect.

Another reason would be for those people who enjoy the peacefullness of a long leisurley smoke without burning through all of your weed (like a poor stoner like me) if you mix them it acts like filler. This would help if you ever got one of those huge hookas with the 1 oz. bowl. You could still fill the bowl but use part weed and part some other tobacco, like a flavored pipe tobacco? I have never actually done any of this but it sound like a good idea. Has anyone done this?

Ranger: like one kid said here it gives you a rush feeliung when you mix em, that's what the asians say too... personally I wanna start blazing like they do but without the tobacco because I enjoy ritual.

Joints are very popular and usually kept in a cigarette case or tin. Most teenagers smoke joints, and many also have glass pipes. Bongs are popular too but are really only common for kids who's parents don't mind. They're just too impractical to use outdoors. I myself have a little glass one about the height of a pop can =)
Blunts are for special occasions and are more common in the summer.

 

My girlfriend told me that when she was in germany, all the people there she met smoked hash mixed with tobacco. She said it sucked too.
