O.M.G! When I go to the bathroom I put the baby on the bathmat in front of me. A few minutes ago, I had him there, naked because he was going to get a new diaper, and I was singing opera to him. I was TOTALLY over the top, singing in a falsetto voice loudly about his body parts. ahem..."Look at those sweet butt cheekies! I pinch one, then pinch two..." etc. This goes on for a few minutes or so and he's cracking up. I stopped for a moment and hear through the vent....The batchelors next door laughing at me and calling everyone in to hear! Holy Crap! I'm MORTIFIED!
*giggles* You know, in a little while, it won't seem so bad. We've probably all done something very embarassing because of or for our children or little siblings. You should just write this down for posterity sake and have a good laugh with your hubby when he gets home.
LOL! That's okay. Have you seen that commercial with the guy dancing like a fool and then it shows his little girl dancing with him and says "it takes a real man to be a Dad"
lol....eh well at least you have a really funny story to tell him when he gets older...my mom has hundreds like that that she has for every one of us kids(theres 6 of us)...makes for a good pick-me-up
It could be worse...when i was in junior high, i was at a friend's house, and she had *ahem* restroom issues...her "performance" was so loud, there was a noticible silence from the men in the next apartment (the walls were VERY thin, you could hear every word), and then stifled laughter. At least what you were doing was cute
There's nothing sweeter than the laughter of a child.Especially when they're young ,like infant to 3 or4 years old.I'll act stupid anywhere, any time to make a little one laugh.Hell,I still go for the laughs every day with my kids and they're in their 20s!Still sounds good too.Never stop going for the laughs as long as you live.
Yeah, write this down and tell him when he's older. That's hilarious! You know what else? When those bachellors have babies of their own someday, they might just find themselves immitating you to get their babies to laugh.
That's adorable jazzmama! Don't feel embarassed! It's cute, really! I say and do some really silly things with my kids and could care less who hears or sees me. I just like to have fun and make my kids laugh!
Good for you!!! At least you aren't just leaving him lying around by himself and letting him scream and cry for you! Keep singin' mama!!!! I do have to say though, I did get a good laugh out of your story......
that's cute!!!! hey, if babes loved it, then i guess those neighbors of yours will have to learn to love opera!
