Please, I don't care what kind of music he likes or listens to. And it's not that he's smoking a little pot. He acts like he NEEDS it. That's not healthy. It's a psychological addiction.

dancerannie, worry about yourself alright? this kid came on here because he was dissapointed about him being dry, he didn't want any of your opinions on drugs. You could be saying the same thing on almost any thread here, only reply if you have something constructive to say.

I've never felt the need to toke. I've begun getting into a little thing I like to call... toking every night on the weekends. But it's not like I have to be high to have fun.. I think that's where some people fall in, they think they can't have fun or live normally without being fucked up in some way, be it alcohol, weed, the list goes on.. Moderation, man.

Kids are the most sensitive beings...they soak up everything around them. If kids grow up thinking it's OK to do illegal stuff...it's not healthy...and it's not nuturing a child the way they should be nutured. I work with kids, I see the damage that is done to their fragile minds...

I'm saying...it's sad to hear that parents would encourage a child to do drugs...

 

yes their minds can be damaged when not properly educated...such as when a kid trys drugs not knowing how much to take or if something goes bad everyone freaks out and somone gets hurt...but if they are talked to and given adequate information then it is a different scenario...im not advocating for parents in either way...im just saying its not ok to judge ones parents or raising methods..and if we are trying to bolster our credentials then i have taken child psychology as im sure anyone else has who has attended a univeristy...

I have met many parents that smoke......all of them are very responsible parents that have a job, nice cars, a loving family.

Actually the parents that I smoked with are more strict with their kids, alot more than my parents were (and they do not advocate smoking) parents that smoke make sure their kids are doing good in school, respectable towards others and MOST OF ALL MAKE SURE THEY HAVE JOBS......the parents believe that the kid should pay for their own habits because they feel that they should learn smoking herb is expensive

 

Thank you for viewing the situation from my perspective. I have smoked with my father, and my mother refuses to smoke with me. She quit a long time ago and said that if that's what I want to do I can do it.

As for anyone believing I have a psychological addiction I think you're incorrect. I have no withdrawal symptoms, and I was clearly stating that I only wanted to have some so I could go to the concert not sober.

If that were the case, if people didn't fight angainst immoral and unjust laws, we become mindless slaves. It was once illegal to be a Christian (still is in some countries) and illegal to be a U.S. of American (we were terrorists, according to England).

The first post you replied to was to tell the o.p. that if you were going to see his favorite band you'd need drugs too. Just about everything you've posted since then is you ducking and weaving trying to justify

I apologize to everyone on this forum if I came off as an irresponsible individual. Those were not my intentions at all. In fact, I was only trying to contribute to this site because it was an appropriate thread for the forum and I was curious as to what others have done.

No dont apologize to anyone man! I can see (if what you said is true) that you seem like a very upstanding person who does well in school and realizes that responsibilites are. If you arent then your parents wouldent have let you smoke.

This thread makes me so sick. The fact that one person can disrupt a nice peaceful forum is very sad. There is so much more I want to say, but I wont contribute to this arguing.

On topic however, I have paid $60 for a underweight quarter of low/mid grade weed. That isnt that bad I know. But next time I do something really crazy for weed I will let you know.
