I sometimes wonder who decided what foods are edible. I mean... sea urchins? Hmmm, it's black and really fucking pointy, let's crack it open and see if it tastes good! We're such a weird species

You act like we're the only species to eat sea urchins. I think we just have the widest selection and most open mind as to what we eat of any species.

Ormaybe it was more like 'Wow, we're really hungry.. We could try eating these rocks and dirt, or that odd looking creature over there..'

I haven't had it either, but they were cooking it on iron chef earlier. I just... we eat weird food as humans.

I think eating tofu and collard greens is slightly more odd than eating sea urchin :&

I wouldn't say we eat weird food necessarily. We just eat everything we can. Sea urchin is edible, so we eat it.

anyone here ever cracked open a durian. its a fruit from south asia, the outside of it is spiky, and the flesh in it has a smell like the worst fart to ever come from a dogs ass.

or how about lutefisk, you take an air dried cod, cover it in quick lime (lye) and then soak it in water for 2-3-day. when its all soft and jelly like its time to cook it. have ya ever been upwind of a fish fertalizer plant, well lutefisk has pretty simular odour.

First we get Ralph Wiggum to taste it, and if he says "it tastes like...burning...." we don't eat it. :D

Why would you want to eat fake meat? If you are a veggie then be one. But don't be a pretend animal murderer....
Some of those creations are scarier than Frankenstein.
