Mainly psy from chill out stuff to dancefloor killers. But do like most other stuff, not really keen on hardhouse though
There's techno trance and there's techno trance. LOL So many people I've met say they love trance music but when you get to know what their definition of trance is, it's so wrong. Proper real Euro trance on vinyl is the best stuff not all this stuff you see on mixed CD's you see advertised on TV, etc. So pumping, hi-energy with winding acid loops, usually vocal-less, hypnotic and made in the UK, Belgium, Germany or the Netherlands is truely the best stuff out there. IMHO
Deffenenently acid jazz. It has the right tempo of 100-115 which it perfect for dancing, and I know cuz I can dance real good.
Psy trance is definitely number one. From the pumping to the melodic, it just has it all. Drum and bass (specially from New Zealand - they fucking know how to make it happen down there) is also pretty amazing. My man loves Trance, hardstyle and house so of course i was converted to his, as was he to mine So I pretty much like it all really except for the happy harcore childish stuff... its just pure cheese
100-115 bpm a bit slow for me. 130-140's the best for whipping the crowd up into a psychedelic frenzy of movement. Anything more is a bit awkward while much less is more suited to chill out songs.
If you ever get the chance to visit Amsterdam try coffeeshop Baba, coffeeshop 36 or coffeeshop Hill Street Blues that play top Trance music. Nothing better than smoking pot in the middle of the afternoon listening to that. lol
