Music I listen to, hmm...here goes, the Doors, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, the White Stripes, Patti Smith, Ben Harper, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, smashing pumpkins, Nirvana, all the classics mate... What would we do without music, or poetry, or nature??? Well I know I'd be a lost cause!

Salmonella Dub Kora Rhombus Bic Runga....the Birds album is great too. I love the song they are using on the Glassons Breast Cancer T Shirt ad....hot. The Brunettes. Funny, funny people. there is so much goodness gah, i need the No 2. Soudtrack. So much gorgeous NZ music.
i havnt heard of half the people you guys are talking about... i love all music really, but mostly i listen to alternative and indie/ rock. i can be caught singin to christina aguilera or mariah carey too
heee, well, those above were the New Zealand bands that I adore....there's a bazillion from overseas that are great too - Bright Eyes, The Arcade Fire, Interpol, Anotny and the Johnsons, Devendra Banhart etc.... but in terms of kiwi bands, then the ones above. But i need to add Conerstone Roots, Hannah Howes, Shapeshifter, Concord Dawn and i'm never going to have enough room to crank them all....
