Hey. I was wondering if anyone wanted to do a group fast ? Like a group support thing, to cleanse our bodies and give our colon and intestines a well deserved break. Let me know. Just like a 3 day fast or something like that...ya' know something simple. I fast once a week (saturdays), it really helps your body. Let me know. Peace
Hey, I started the fast today[doing it from reading your thread]. BLECH. I am hoping that this stuff is gonna taste better once I have gone a few days without food. So if anyone wants to start tomorrow [a group of girls that I know are starting it tomorrow, so I am doing it for 11 days] that would be great.
I support fasting, I occasionally do in in 3 day intervals, I drink mostly water but a cup of 100% juice or something with nutrients isn't too bad of an idea before you go to bed so you don't wake up with pangs....
Some also take herbal teas. SOme do juices (green would utimately be better, but there is nothing against fruit juices) I would love to go on one, especially with other people. Feel free to email/pm/AIM
I'm personally gonna start tomorrow, because i really need to. Anyone is free to join me. I'm gonna shoot for three days..which will be until monday. Water, Herbal teas and juices.
Our original group is pretty much gone, Brian! Hahah, that's alright. Whoever wants to do the fast together can. Personally, I'm doing the Master Cleanse, invented by Stanley Burroughs. Not sure when I'm starting, but it needs to be soon. I'm not in very good shape, these days...
what exactly is the point of fasting...what does it do to your body...is it bad for you...how do you fast vitamins, juice, teas, substance, and is it to loose weight or strictly to help your bodys overall function.....can you work out while fasting?....i am new to this subject and have no clue of does and donts....
