Getting stoned while sick

I was just curious, how many of you smoke while your sick? And if you do, does it make you feel better? I never have, but i was tempted to last night. I had such a bad headache, and legal drugs just weren't fixing it.

 

i pop a couple asprin then smoke when i have a headache

but i dont think smoking while actually sick(i.e. flu, throwing up, etc.)

but colds and stuff should be fine....dude mabye weed is the cure for the common cold!

 

It might be, I've heard a lot of crazy stuff about weed.

 

Its funny that you said that because I happen to be sick and smoking as I type this. Right now I'm at the end of my cold, a few sniffles but fine other than that. I love smoking while sick, it could be pyschological, but I think smoking at this stage at a cold makes me feel better. I feel less congested.
But if I'm really sick, like I was two days ago; when I try to smoke it makes me feel worse in a way. When really sick, im all congested and flemmy;barely able to breath and my face hurts because my sinuses swell. When I'm this bad trying to smoke hurts my throat so bad, then I end up coughing 30x worse than when i smoke when not sick.
Smoking also helps me when i have period cramps and back aches. But I've never smoked with just a head-ache.

i smoke when sick, just not to get real stooonneedd, but to get high, yeh definately, makes me feel better. but i can get long spells of phlegm when i smoke with a congested cough.

 

ive bonged with a sore throat hurt but ten minutes later it was gone for the reat of the dsay

 

i've smoked with a cold before, but it just makes me cough even more.

 

well I'm sick all the time, thats one of the reasons I smoke weed. So yes it makes me feel better.

 

So far, weed has helped me through all kinds of mental, emotional and physical distress. I say take a hit, if your body can hack it, smoke some more. Once you're high, you'll feel relief.

 

with a regular cold.. yes, but the flu or anything worse... is a no

 

I smoked with a bad cold the other day, and my symptoms went away entirely for the duration of my high. Or maybe I just didn't notice them because I was so damn stoned. Oh well, either way, it was all good.

everytime i smoke when i'm sick, i feel so much better. you almost forget your sick to begin with.

 

yea i smoke a little bit when i'm sick...not much, but enough to have a nice high...though, when i'm sick, i smoke by myself or i just use my own piece if were smoking in a group...don't want others to get sick...
