Yes, I've done it.! However, the REAL, real stuff makes you hyper.! Take it in very small doses to appreciate it.
Get some absinthe essence and stick it in yo vodka. You can get it pretty much all over the world and it contains very small amounts of thujone. Haven't tried, but heard its pretty good.
I've tried absinthe. Basically it was no different to any other type of alcohol I have tried. Very bitter. Bottle did not display thujone content.

what the fuck is the hype with absinthe? i drank half a bottle with a friend and it wasn't even a weaker derivement, it was the proper shit with woodworm present. admittedly i tripped, felt a warm buzzing/floating feeling inside with feelings of euphoria and new mini-insights which faded. i get a green ring around my main line of vision and all the way through it my concious mind had took a break. however i still felt in control, and have had much more fun on acid, mescaline, shrooms, even a stella/cannabis mix!!! it's good, but too many people are arse raping it recently. and i bet most of them havent even tried it and have just heard of it. (im not aiming that at anyone in here!! people that i know..)
Absinthe is perfectly legal to posses in the United States. It is just illegal it sell it commercially because some ingredients are listed by the FDA as being unfit for human consumption. It does do strange things if you get the right kind. Each commercial manufacturer has a different recipe, some with secret ingredients.
