Hey, me and two of my buddies are going to Amsterdam for the first time from March 2nd to March 8th. Anyone gonna be there during this time? And I heard if you are American the two guys at Grey Area will love you.....is that true?
love you just because your american.........doubt it. more like you will love buying american style eigths from americans because it is 1. your american norm and 2. a bit of a novelty in amsterdam! either way the smoke and the jerome baker bong collection there is impossible to not love...........no matter where you are from!
I'm an American and last time I was in grey area the guy acted annoyed that I was in there. I don't really plan on going back. Me and a couple of my friends, who are travelling noobs, are gonna be in the Dam March 6-9. I have been several times before so I have my favorite spots that I plan on showing them. Sorta my own tour and coffeshop crawl. Maybe we can meet up for a spliff or something at Basjoe's one of the nights we're there.
Yeah id be annoyed by traveling noobs too, ive always had no issues at the Grey Area, everyone there is pretty cool even if your american. I go there cuz i think their weed is top notch,always beautiful crystals and red hair. In fact ive never bought a disappointing bag. The Jerome Baker bong collection rocks as well as the vaporizer. I highly recommend the Grey Area. Especially since their is a chocolate shop across the street,what a brilliant idea.
That's truly my favorite coffeeshop! Was staying near the Nieuwmark for some days now, and I was down at Basjoe every day to pick up some of the Early Pearl! Try It! It's the best!
Yeah I had a great time in Basjoes last time I was there. Great quality stuff, and friendly staff. From what I have read, Grey area service is hit or miss, depending on what owner is working.
John and Steve of the Grey area are both good guys. They stay very busy and sometimes Steve can be a little testy, but they generally give what they get. Have a good vibe and you will be treated well. The "Yellow Cab" at GA is my fav.
Ya, f'n lightweight! lol Grey Area is one of the most solid shops in the town in terms of gear. Never had anything but great service myself. Always a "must-visit" in my not at all humble opinion.
