Have you ever bought anything from a telemarketer? What was the best excuse you ever gave for NOT buying something from telemarketer?
If they called and offered a 3-day trip anywhere in USA, with a free dinner & free room in a Ramada Inn...would you pay $100 for the package?

One time a telemarketer called me during a party and I was having a good time. I had a 45 minute conversation with her because I know how long their days can be. Once I started talking about how her day was, her supervisor got on the phone and said that she needed to let me go. I pretended I was very interested, so he let her continue and I signed up for a travel thing with my credit card at the time. A month later I closed that credit card account.

Yeah, so call me and I will annoy YOU, but you might get a sale.

I am sure you're on top of it but make sure you add your cell phones to the list as well. They are starting to call cells now.

eh, never bought anything from 'em. Don't trust them to be honest, same with infomercials, don't trust them. Some hidden catch somewheres for sure. I just say "no thank you, please take me off your list", I at least try to be polite about it (unless they get belligerent)

that is so ridiculous. i had one call me the other day on my cell saying the survey would only take about 20-30 minutes. i was like uhhh i have a pay and talk plan, asshole, that's like 2 paychecks right there...

and sqwakers, if someone actually called you offering that it's totally a scam if you have to pay 100$ to get a package about a free trip.
