thats it. nothing more. just "hey"...i don't know what they want or why they IM'd me, so i can't really start a conversation with them, because i probably didn't wanna talk to them. but wtf. if you're gonna IM me, atleast say something more...jeez

for real though, I know what you mean. It's almost as bad as when a guy friend calls and just wants to talk. WTF is that? Call me to A) let me know where the party is B)let me know where the fight is or C)ask some sort of question.

exactly...i don't talk to a guy over the phone for "just talking out problems" - i'll actually go to him to talk if need be, but generally, i hate the phone too, theres only a few people i actually like to talk on the phone with and none of them are guys.

the IM conversation i just had went like this

me - wuts up
him - nothing, you
me - ugh, sick
him - whats wrong
me - have some virus
