Peanuts, how are you, we don't speak often enough these days, I love the way your mind works, a thread about candles is like a breath of fresh air after all this bickering of late. lavendar is my fav S
you are so asking for trouble, lavendar is the witches herb, now you don't want me to bring up colouring book again do you?? S
I will never live this down will I? Did you know if you substituted a "C" for the "V" you could spell calendar?
yeah thanks for that Hacker now moving on.... anyone like sandlewood, expensive stuff not cheap stuff or it smells like cat pee S
I am good, thank you for asking. I'm keeping warm while we are surrounded with snow. How are you doing? Is it warm where you are at? I'm not sure the way my mind works but you can love it.
I love sandlewood. The candle that I am burning now has sandlewood in it and I think a musk. It's called Amber Sunset by Yankee Candle.
its cold but we've been warned to save water cause its been a very dry winter, I live on the south coast in the uk so its generally just a bit warmer here in winter cause of the sea, I think its snowed about once in the 11 years ive been here- hows your spot? S
Last night and today was the first time it's snowed since the beginning of December. It's been a warmer winter for us for the most part. It's 31 degrees now but by the end of the week it will be 51. The quick change of weather kills my sinus's.
bigelow chemists-pepermint-vanilla or cost plus imports almond-coconut. Or hallmark's cucumber-melon but that was years ago and doubt they make it anymore
I love black cherry candles. I tried a soy candle at work, cant remember the name of the company that makes them though, cant even remember the scent. It did smell really good. It was weird because it wasnt wax based, you could stick your finger in it and it was just like an oil.
I LOVE soy candles but they are so freaking expensive...anyone know where I can get one for less then 30...which is the cheapest I have found them.
I will check downstairs at the bookstore and find out how much they are. They were giving free votive samples. So i didnt really look at the price of them.
cinnamon I can't handle most scents they use for candles... give me nasty assed headaches really fast. I usually find unscented ones whenever possible
Naw, candles are supposed to look pretty and be an excuse to play with fire lots of scents give me headaches though, it's best to just stick with unscented stuff when possible, just avoid that whole scene
Cranberry!! I got one for christmas and it just smells so deliciously yummy. I also have one that smells like ocean and summer rain, it makes me miss summer a lot. Pumpkin bread is pretty good too, makes me wanna have some pumpkin bread even though I've never had it. Ahh I love scented candles..
