That's the second most powerful man in America your talking about. Intentional or not, it wouldn't mean anything to him. I mean, he wouldn't go to jail. It would make America look bad (like it doesn't already).

    Ain't it sad?

This is why dipshit politicians should hold business meetings in board rooms...

He was out quail hunting (probably with just a 20 guage or a 410 anyway, anything bigger proves he's just, well... an idiot who has no idea what he's doing). You hunt to hunt, not to discuss business. Otherwise, if you haven't hunted in awhile and just want to show off to your corporate buddies, you'll probably end up shooting them.

That's just my logic, but I took a safety course when I was 12. I'd never use a concealed weapons permit or carry a handgun, but that'd be the last thing a person ever saw if it was aimed at them. I don't like guns, I just have alot of respect for them.

I'm a proud Remington owner (haven't fired the 12 guage in two or three years, had a 20, 410...)... but damned if I'd ever own a handgun, unless it was something just for collecting/target shooting. :D

The only one I had was my grandpa's service .45 that he carried in korea and a .32 that belonged to my grandma.

Checked and saw that it was a 28 guage... and damn Harry Whittington is lucky they weren't deer hunting instead of quail hunting, or else he might be a dead man right now.

Well, the idiot who doesn't support gun control, and is responsible for much senseless violence in the form of wars, has finally fucked up in a way that'll influence him directly. I sure hope he gets it.

    Good point...

But you have to admit... It is in a way kinda humerous. How often is it that a vice president shoots his friend?

A state delegate almost shot someone in his office, here in VA, a week or two ago.

He won't. He's only got a few more years in office, the worst that could happen is lose his ability to be in politics, and why would he wanna do that? He was already vice president of the United States. By the time they even got to this case (if he even has one) he'll be almost outta office, and he wouldn't run for president because of his heart problems.

I don't know if you know about this or not but their linking him to this CIA Operative whose wife was killed. He's avoided a couple of times, but they're finally putting him up to as the guy who released the information the dude was in the CIA.

28 gauge? Are you shitting me? I didn't know you could even buy ammo for that weird gauge. I've only ever seen one in my life, and the owner didn't have shells for it. Must be hand-loads.

"If guns are outlawed only Republican Politicians will accidently shoot their corporate buddies."

OK, that was a little less than elegant, but you know.

    Federal/Winchester/others still manufacture it.

Dunno why anyone shoots at quail - they're not even a mouthful...

Yeah, I'd have to agree. I'd rather be pheasant or duck hunting.

Wolf also makes 28 gauge in #8 and #9 shot, but I've never really seen anyone actually use a 28 guage before.

Har har... Rem. 870 express... 28 inch vent rib barreled 12 guage with a modified choke.
