typing in other languages

    hey...i was wondering if anyone knows how to change the language settings on the computer, i need to type papers for spanish class and need to know how to do accent and such... thanks for any help

    No, but seriously ...

    Open up your computer's Keyboard options from the Control Panel. You can add and remove locale and input settings for different languages and regions. You can then switch between them via the icon in the taskbar.

    You can also do some accents in English, using the word processor's functions (usually something like Insert -> Symbol or Tools -> Characters). And if you must, you can do a limited number of accents by holding ALT and hitting the respective character codes (the character codes can be found at Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character Map).
