Mom busted.

Well, this morning I was in my mom’s room, just looking at these rows of pictures she got up on her dresser. While I’m checkin out this one picture of my dad, i lean closer to get a better look and, BOOM! I get hit with the smell of bud. So lift up the picture and behind it she got this little bowl, packed. I took a whiff, and it smells like some pretty dank shit. I always had my suspicions, but this is just cool as hell. I doubt I’m gonna confront her about it, seein has i can raid her stash every now and again. But my question is, if I do talk to her, would it be wise to tell her i smoke too?

 

If you tell her "Mom, guess what I smoke." (OK, word it more delicatly).....
If you tell your mom you smoke, I think the discussion will quickly get around to where you tell her that you know that she also smokes.

So, why do you want to tell her that your smoke? Is there any reason, other than stealing from her, that you don't want to talk about Her smoking?

If you get yourself clear on those questions, it will be much easier to talk with your mom.

By the way, just because she smokes it does not mean that she will approve of your smoking. A parent who drinks wine with dinner is quite capable of disapproving of it for their minor child. (Just giving you a heads up.)

There have been a few "parents who smoke" threads. From what I can see, an open situation where parent and child both know and accept each other's habits is the best. I don't know if you can get there, but it is a good goal.

Hey man, apreciate it. Anyway, i decided not to talk to her. I just think it would be a bit to awkward. Thing is, i think her and my brother already know about each other smoking, and they seem pretty cool with each other. But i think i'll just let sleeping dogs lie. For right now anyway.

When I busted my dad I took the lit joint from his hand and took a blast.
We smoke together quite a bit now. But thats the kind of relationship I have with my dad, you and your mom might not be that way.

I agree, i would feel bad taking weed from my mom if she still smoked. She works hard and thats bullshit to do that. That would be like her raiding your stash and stealing your shit, i bet you'd be pissed right? don't be a fucking scumbag, respect your parents, with exceptions, most do what they think is right for you.

 

Yeah, I found out over the years that there is no one in my entire family who does NOT smoke pot. I remember when I was little, you know, too little to know what is going on? Well, My Mom, Dad, Aunts and Uncles used to sit around smoking this funky smelling shit. When I would ask what it was they would smile and say "Its Lady Cigars" . Well, as it is we ahd these trees that would make these real long beans that could be dried to smoke I rekoned. As the years went on and I got more and more in to life I smoked my first joint. Then it dawned on me. This smeels like the shit mom and dad used to smoke. Well, she fessed up and we lived happily thereafter. It was one of those deals you know. Like when you walk in on your mom and dad the first time while they are having sex. You dont yet have a clue.

 

I raid my rents stash once in awhile.. but I helped them lets say make it ? , heh im just takin What I helped with .. Plus my mom knows I take it, shes alright with it cause she understands the hell that goes on in this place. But she just calls me and my friends stoners.. she even found my bong and said the reason she didn't have one is for if we ever did get raided. I don't want to smoke up with my mom, but its nice not having to be so secretive about it
