A friend from Argentina sent me a couple of CD's by a band called Sui Generis. They are very old (recorded in the early 70's), but they really blew me away, specially one called "Instituciones". I had never heard rock in spanish, but these guys were making very advanced music. A little similar to what Genesis was doing at the time, but with a latin twist. Prog-Rock at its best, with incredible synth riffs and very heavy guitar. Does anyone here know more about this type of music? I would like to find out more about it, even if I don't understand the lyrics.
