Energy I bop my head, move my shoulders, hips, and feet. I am smiling, moved by moving, to the lyrics I can relate, I am grooving to a beat. I feel connected, meditative, unleashed. I am a twirling balerina box doll, set free. Poetry that moves my mind and body- I express myself through music's energy. I am listening, watching your eyes, lips, and motions. You invite me to join you. Itching your closed minded termite doors, I offer you some lotion. You smile, reach out, and soften. Sliding out of your wooden shell, I can see you're a lot like me. I hold out a loaf of bread and I break it into two. You take both peices, like a wolf, starving for my energy. I am counting, collecting, making, a green not natural of this earth. I am a slave for this artificial color. My fingers are black from silver. This foundation has been forced upon my worth. I have calloused and dirty feet. A little princess sinks her's into a bear rug whose close friends once called Big Berry. If I could go back to the beginning of history, I would rewrite it without a king and queen. For they have released the greed in energy. I will keep on smiling and dancing. I will mix my colors and sing songs to the guitar. I will sit around a camp fire, pass around my pipe of peice, enjoy the simplicitity of living, and accept each for who they are. We are butterflying stories, all trying to make our way, to the center of the flower. The place where the essence of creation you can breathe.. Find the center in yourself. Focus it. Send it out. Absorb and understand it. Bring all of the parts of you to life, for you possess all energy.
Cool. There's a lot of good messages in there. I enjoyed this. Keep it up, oh and could you do me a favor? Please check out my poem, "Those who Wander" I think you'll like it. Take it easy Mike
What a wonderful sharing, circulating, directing, offering sacrament, accepting, coaxing, knowing, dancing, encouraging kindness, shedding greed, vital enthusiastic universal connected star-shine; moon over blazing fire, drifting in the daylight golden glow of snow fields; melting like crystals under warm rain poem. I really enjoyed how i felt each time opening to it. How can one really respond to this in words. Swirling spirals kiss my crown with downward curving flows, while green earth energy coils around my feet and legs; emerald resting, languid loveliness randomly overflowing the heart-cup.
Wow. I am flattered...that my poem filled your thoughts with these amazing descriptions, that took me further than the poem I wrote, itself. No, really. I wish I could hug you You have a way with words Sylvan. Thank you for taking your time. Thank you for your inspiring words that make my heart light to read.
