my assignment for public speaking class was to pick a song, play 30 seconds of it in class and then tell about the music, the band, or anything relating to it. i have been freaking out since i got home cause i couldnt decide between a bunch of songs. i had it narrowed down to two. tears in heaven by eric clapton and the golden road by the grateful dead. i chose the grateful dead because tears in heaven is a really sad song and i didnt want to bring down the class. also, my class would probobly be a lot more interested in the grateful dead. now i just have give the speech tomorrow. woo!
WOWWWW! What a cool-beans assignment! Although, if I had that, I'd do a Beatles song, perhaps "Day in the Life". They'd never be able to get rid of me...
did speech today. eh...didnt go as well as i had hoped. thats only because people didnt seem interested in the grateful dead. Psshhh...i dont care though. it rocked and the grateful dead is amazing!
we had to do something like that last yr in american history and i used Dylan's union sundown...... my teacher loved it....... and i LOVED the assignment
