i know its kind of a paradox but do any other "hippies" like goth or indsutrail music, or am i the only one who puts flowers in my hair and then bounces around my house blasting skinny puppy, christian death or ministry?
I like goth/industrial. I listen to a lot of Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Skinny Puppy, Ministry, The Cure, Lacuna Coil, et al. Cevin Key is a total stoner. Check out his solo stuff or the Download albums. He's as hippy-industrial as it gets. Skinny Puppy was majorly into animal rights, which is certainly a hippy sort of thing. Ogre's solo albums are cool, too.

I love Goth metal!!! 3 of my alltime favourite bands are Goth metal ..ie,HIM, Nightwish, and Lacuna Coil. I think that Goth metal happens to be a very under-rated form of metal..how many metal bands can you say have pulled off a cover of phantom of the opera ( Nightwish)??! lol. Not only that it is one of the few forms of metal that has a healthy population of successful female singers fronting the bands. peace and love folks
