my teachers know

two days ago... my science teacher (whos a generally cool dude, compared to other teachers) found out someone in my class smoked pot... and well apparently he's antidrug (not like he's the kind to narc, but just he doesnt like it), so he goes on this thing where he's like "raise ur hand if u have never smoked pot" and bout half my class raises their hand.. and so he goes around pointing at people (he was right on all of em lol) saying "u defenitly have", "put ur hand down", and stuff like that... well then he looks at me, and i dont even have my hand up, and is like "now I KNOW that you are a pothead" and now, even tho half the damn class has smoked before, he has decided to bitch at me all the damn time bout weed..
but the worst part is that he isnt the only one who knows... two football coaches know, my health teacher, and my history teacher, my agriculture teacher, and now my science teacher, and i dont even talk bout pot in their classes... does ne one else have this problem?

 

some of my teachers know...most of them just assume i do. a guy got arrested and then my art teacher is completely cool about it, she doesn't smoke i don't think, but doesn't really care either. just watch your back and don't conduct any business at school if you know what i mean.

I'm pretty open about stuff when I talk to people about it. No question about it, some of my teachers have heard me say "yeah, I watched that baked like all hell and it was a total trip!" or something like "Maaaan, I LOVE weed." None of them have ever confronted me about it, nor do I think they ever will. Most of them are pretty liberal anyway, so why would they care? I know a teacher who caught some guys tripping on LSD in his class. He just pulled them aside and said, "Hey guys, it's dangerous to trip at school. I give you permission to leave, go hang out in your car or something."

thats so cool sounds like my bio teatcher two days ago we had a huge class room chat about pot the whole 1:30 he was all like its alright to smoke pot as long as its not habitual, then hes like they just feed you guys tottal lies in health about pot, and, of course if been around that stuff all the time i grew up in the freaking sixties, and he loves great music me and my friend talk to him about music all day, hes so cool

 

wow, tripping on lsd at school? that's something i would never ever do.

 

a few of my teachers knew. no one really cared.. until i was busted about to buy some from a friend and then evvveryone knew of course, but it was clear that most teachers didnt care because they pretty much all ignored the incident. we have these special classes three times a week called tutor groups where its really jsut a group of students which stays the same throughout the whole time youre at school, regardless of what subjects youre doing, where you can do homework or relax and talk or read your books or whtaever the fuck you wanted in my tutor group lol. anyway ours had the highest amount of stoners in it than all the others, when my tutor found out i smoked (people liked shouting out about my smokin) she told the counsellor. he came to me and talked to me about it.

Jeez... people take one look at me and automaticly know I smoke weed...

 

I respect teachers enough to think that he wasn't expecting truth from the raised hands. I read it as his creating the scernery for his rhetorical discussion about drug use.

Back to the OP, so some of your teachers know you smoke. I'm pretty sure they suspected before. Why do you call the situation a "problem"? Are they taking disciplinary actions against you?

Its dumb to think that teachers dont know that kids use pot anymore, Im sure they are aware of that and have a good idea of who uses it =)

 

Don't worry about it. I'd love it if a teacher did that to me.. thats cause its such a interesting topic.. and its nice to hear both sides.. funny also when they know nothing about what there talking about..

 

a bunch of my high school teachers knew that i smoked. the AD knew i smoked and i was the captain of the soccer team. they didn't care, as long as i got my work done. the AD would always joke around with me, asking me if i've stopped smoking yet...haha

 

Hah, that's pretty much the way people see me, too.

But they think if it's a drug, I've already abused it... which is totally moronic and presumptuous of them. I make a point of explaining my side of the story.

My english teacher last tri and this tri know. Last tri I did a hella dumb thing and know ppl will pitch me shit about it but its a great story. I was drawin a bong in her class and then when i was almost done with it and gettin ready to color it she asked us to take out a piece of paper and start doin an assignment. I did and when I was finished, passed it up, along witht he bong pic that I had no idea was behind the assignment. While at the front of the class, she was goin through the papers and pulled out my pic and was like, "Jordan, were you drawing this?" and I was like,"Uh, no." And she was like, "well we'll have to do something about this". And so I figured I would get in trouble but day after day nothin happened. So this girl was passin out papers and had seen me draw it and just passed it back to me cuz it was mixed in with the papers. I was like "Holy Shit!" It was awesome. Plus when she was saying off grades I had the highest grade in the class and the kid next to me was like, "See stoners can get good grades!" and I just looked at him and said thanks. God that was fun. I was lucky as hell I didnt get in trouble.

 

None of my teachers knew I smoked bud, but I'm quite sure they all knew I drank a shit load of alcohol, seeing as I used to come into class hungover just about every day.

Basically, put it this way, my chemistry teacher was explaining lights, someone asked how a blacklight worked...she explained, then someone asked what a blacklight was cause they're apparently a dumbfuck...and my teacher goes, "Well, basically, stoned people like to look at them" and then the whole class turned to look at me haha
