so ya, i went to silver on the mount in hollywood florida, awsome place. they were more than friendly, amaizing ink work, aswell as piercing, so ya, i went in payed 35$ sat down, in a latex free environment(precausion madre is deathly allergic to it wanted to play it safe) they sprayed the whole room, table, chair everyt hing with disifectant wiped it all down, opened fresh needles infront of me stearilized the jewelry, numbed my tongue, used the forceps, tada, i was done, put the ring in, gave me instructions and an after care kit, with a card and told me to call if i have any ?'s or problems..its been 2 days and i love it so does my gf. and im at 0g steel tunnels. ill take pics eventualy, o and i did a "tattoo" on my chest, my girlfriends initials with ink. ill take pics of that to eventualy
ur tongue peircing sounds cool. but a tatto on ur chest of uur girlfriends initials, haha, lets hope u dont regret that. lol
im not to familiar with anesthetics, but it seems like a topical anesthetic like orajel, or emla would be a bad idea to get INTO the body. but, i am not positive on that. i know that over the counter orajel is legal, but a lot of other anesthetics are illegal for non-medical professionals to use. at least around here, maybe flordia laws are different. but either way, it seemed like your experience worked out for the best, so i guess it doesnt matter.
tongue piercings are hotness... but yea, i agree with prismatism, its a lil risky to tattoo your gf's initials on u when u're only 16
Thinkin about going this weekend to get mine done. Was just wondering about how much I should expect to pay.
damn give him a break... it's his body- he can tattoo whatever he wants on it. besides, ever heard of a cover up??
they used green soap probably along with a gel that when mixed with the green soap makes it tingle and feel numb. i forget what it is. it's been a while since i've refreshed my shop vocab, but it's not an anesthetic. it actually doesn't even make your toungue numb, you just think it is. my shop does it a lot. it's not harmful in anyway, so i've been told, though i do know a lot of shops don't do it. this sounds kind of ignorant to the subject, but i just woke up. when i find out exactly what it is i'll let you know.
