Name some kiwi bands

lets see how many kiwi bands/solo you know of, I'm curious to see as to what ones people have heard of and what gets missed. Everyone here knows the who, the doors, grateful dead etc from where most of you are but how many would know any bands from New Zealand and how many, to start you off I'll give you one Dave Dobbyn :sunglasse

No offenence but if you want a SA band thread you start it, this is for kiwi bands. Nah Ponydozer you might as well I don't think anyone here knows any kiwi bands let alone where New Zealand is I think they're all thick as shit, yeah I saw pulp, classic stuff I'll mention Bic Runga, Pluto, Dragon, Hello Sailor, Th Dudes, Split Enz, Che Fu, Supergroove, Haley Westenra, Goldenhorse, Shihad, Fat Freddys Drop, Crowded House and The Mint Chicks to start with :sunglasse {doesn't mean I like all of them but its a good cross section. I'll be near Auckland in 2 months moving to Rotorua where my partners familly is, don't understand personally myself the thing against Auckland know plently from there sounds pretty awesome really and diverse you must have a great scene up there for entertainment Christchurch is not that bad but not that great either lol

Yeah most people who hate Aucklanders rely on the news far too much, they paint us all as rich snobs who have no real problems. I remember hearing this one guy saying 'all they do is sit on their boats sipping lattes all day' hahahahahahahahaha! Ive never heard anything so ridiculous! My family will never be able to own a boat! But yeah anyway. Ahem.

 

no she doesn't I'm afraid, going up in march now in the week 13th to the 19th, leaving my job wont be hard cause the supermarket I work for is cutting jobs if I stayed I'd be made redunent in less than 6 months so it was going to be another job or WINZ till I found something else lol but thats the whole story, I'm insane so nothing worrys me lol
