I don't know who all is familiar with the work of Masaru Emoto, but he was featured in the recent film "What the Bleep Do We Know" for his study of emotional effects upon water.

At first, I was skeptical of this man because he claimed to be a scientist, but had not been published in any legitimate scientific journal. Therefore, I prematurely dismissed him.

However, today I was at my local shop for all my supplies and crystals and books, and I was talking to a lady who had also been skeptical, and actually tried some of Emoto's experiments herself. She showed me what she had found:

In one jar, she placed a small amount of cooked rice and sealed the jar, labelling it "Thank you." In another, she placed an equal amount of cooked rice, labelling it "You fool." In yet another jar, she placed an equal amount but placed no label on it and completely ignored the jar. As of today, the jars had been sitting about two months, and she showed me the results.

In the "thank you" jar, the rice had minimal traces of a white goo-like substance over the top of it. In the "you fool" jar, there was white mold literally covering almost every inch of the jar's interior. And in the ignored jar, there was a layer of black mold on top of the rice.

I plan on simulating this experiment on my own to see the results. If this is verified, I think I will be forced to change my opinion of Emoto. Also, if anyone else can simulate the experiment, please post your results (pictures would be nice too) here.

I'll post regularly on how it's going, and pictures. I'll probably start it tomorrow or Sunday.

I began the experiment on the 28th of December and although the mold isn't really that significant enough to notice great differences yet I do see a greater amount of mold on the jar labeled "I wish you were dead" than the one labeled "I love you." Nothing conclusive yet, though. I will post after sufficient time has passed to notice considerable differences.

Oh yeah! I just love Emoto!
I've been doing this type of Alchemy/vibrational gratitude for awhile now.
On my water bottle in the fridge, on one side I put "love" another side "gratitude" in 'honor' of Emoto. (He states that ********** (the very substance of time/space/matter or ether IS love and it's not a lack of love we have, but a lack of Gratitude. If we recognised our gratitude more, we wouldn't be able to disrespect (our earth/others/air/water/diety/etc).
Yes, the water DOES taste better.
If I need something specific, I put "Love" on one side (the substance of matter/ether) and "health on the other.
Then I follow with a positive affermation like.. "My heart/liver/body is healthy and strong"

That's the beautiful thing about science lately. It's proving things on a Quantum level that Metaphysics have been practicing for awhile.

    Peace baby. I love ya.

Of course this is true, all is merely energy. What is seen by us as rice is merey energy. Energy all around us and within us and others and all matter (energy) is affected by the energy that we project upon it with our thoughts actions and words. This is seen in part of the Buddhas dharma "right thought, right action, right words" etc...)

It's kind of hard to accept this responsibility of the consequences of all our thoughts and actions but this is something we must do if we wish to improve life for ourselves and the world around us.
