I dont know about yall, but I think the best performance of the night so far was paul mccartney's band doin "helter skelter". everything else was boring as fuck, this song rocked the house. damn!
I was jumping around and hurting myself during Helter Skelter, it rocked so hard. However, I'm wishing I had turned it off after that performance because I didn't expect one of my personal heroes to ruin his own song by doing it over a rap/techno backbeat with Linkin Park and Jay-Z. Not to mention Jay-s wearing a John Lennon t-shirt and the screen had a picture of George Harrison on it at one point. ....I don't know....maybe Paul really is just a pretty little pop princess. I have to say seeing him do that kinda dropped him down a peg on my list of Favorite Beatles. ~Layla
dude, what about SLY STONE! with a fuckin 2-foot tall, blonde mo-hawk. He did, like, a minute and a half of "I want to take you higher"...and then left, halfway through the song. It was CRAZZY!
yes, and I talked about this on another thread. he looked terrible. that was quite bizarre. and leaving during the middle of the song??? everyone else looked dumbfouned...... its much like what syd barrett did back in the day.
