Hip hop + Weed = Anger?!?

    hey all
    yesterday i went stoning with my mate and 2 people he knows. theyre into wearin nike clothes and listenin to hip hop and stuff like that but i thought itd b cool cos we could share some plant and discuss our differences. anyway, i had a couple o spliffs then one of them played some rap 4 me. it was uk garage stuff about not fuckin with the guy rappin and all.

    and it got me mad! does anyone esle get that? normally i listen to chill out music when high, but listenin to rap got me proper hot headed.

    i actually did this for my 7th grade science experiment. i had a 25 question test id give people and then let them listen to a violent-ish rap song and then take the test again(the second time the questions were re-worded and in a different order) and the result was that it actually did make people angry. the weed has nothing to do with it. i still love me some rap though.

    yo some rap is chiiiilzz guy, it dont got all be angry. I tend to like my west coast shit like pharcyde, people under the stairs, del tha funkee homosapien cuz it flows and dont get the adrenaline pumping like some hip hop can do

    There is no way that Hip Hop makes you aggressive! Remember.. t came about in the first place to stop gang culture! It is a peaceful movement and people like 50Cent are responsible for taking it down the wrong path.. it isn't about violence, guns or consumption.. it is about the music and being connected t a movement.

    What are peoples views on UK Hip Hop? I found this site that allows you to download live recorded event.. I got Roots Manuva's live show from there.. check it out.. and tell me than if you think Hip Hop is aggressive!?
