I am hoping to utilize a rather small skyligh(about the size of a common trap door which resides in my roof. at the moment it serves the purpose of bringing light into a bathroom which has no windows. Basicaly there is a transparent trap door above the toilet which is dirctly beneath the skylight. My plan is to build a small grow room which will sit as close to the skylight as possible(obviously depending on how high i want to grow the plants), this grow room will be the same size as the skylight and will completely utilize the light without any leaking out, in otherwords no light for my bathroom. I want to paint the inside of the room/grow space white to reflect the light supplied. The only problem that i can see is that this skylight only recieves direct sunlight light for a small duration of the day, there is sufficent light for the bathroom for most of the day but as i say it is not always direct. What do you guys think of this setup, will my babies thrive or struggle to survive.

If you have any ideas on how to improve this setup or reasons that it wont succed please let me know.

    Thank you soldiers
    peace :D

You can't grow pot under a skylight.
Not enough light reaches the plant.
That's why you never hear of anyone doing it.
