well sure .. it should be good.. I have a home-made pipe and it works like a jewel... so .. pretty much just anything is good lol

 

how did u make it

 

with the outside of a strong metal pen... some duct tape.. a kneedling thing.. i dont know how its called in english but in french its "un dee a coudre".

That pipe looks like its used to smoke weed in places where you normally cannot. And I certainly hope your not going to be using salvia in any sort of public situation...

If I were you I would buy a small water bong if your intent is to use the peice soley for salvia divinorum. Or if your set on a cheap pipe for salvia or for weed something like this http://shop.grasscity.com/shop/grasscity/3301.html
