"We"; I'm not part of that "we" way of thinking, i.e. were going to war; id rather say, "there" going to war again! (meaning, I don't agree with go'n to war)> "they're" as in the "government" the statement "we" makes you part of the problem, and adds to the many minds saying the same thing. Its like praying!

"oppressing the poor" >Probably by TV, media adds and the crowd you hang with. First your very slowly and subtly brainwashed into thinking you need to buy products to keep up with the Jones i.e. Nikie shoes, TV's, Mc Donald's etc....

Fads, gangs and dress stiles, even hippies have a look! Looks!!!!>> let call this human profiling, Makes it essayer for the police to spot you form a distance, gives them reason to stop you and search you, if your caught with something illegal ether your gonna pay a fine or end up in prison. Which makes money off your insecure emotional lead decisions , to stand out like a sore thumb, so to speak.

Now the clincher is, when you do finally make it out of school and head for the work force, your encouraged to save for retirement too.

Why don't most folks save? Maybe because for the first 18 years of your life, you been con into spending on a whim. wants and need whats important to you?

I know not every one is like this but it is happening and purposely done to use on a massive world wide scale.

You know why Psychedelics are really looked down upon by the government si opp teams. Maybe coz it interferes with that brianwashing process, opens your mind and gives you the ability to see truth.

The good news is you make your own reality so chose wisely. Thats all it take to make change. Look inside ask your self does this feel right or am i doing it to please someone else. You have to love yourself first before you can change the world.
    Peace

Wow--from an avid conspiracy theorist I love all the differing thoughts on this thread. Hmmmm...been looking for an economic collapse since the early 90's, actually thought Y2K would effect some change. Ah--Y2K--the worlds biggest non-event! The desire in my heart for change isn't because I want to see catastrophic upheaval returned upon the heads of the oppressors (whomever they are to each) but it comes from a knowing...a DEEP knowing that we are out of balance in the way we live upon the Earth and the way we treat each other.
You know, I see two different kinds of shit hitting the fan....one is on a social level. I keep wondering, when will the peasants take up their pitchforks and mullein torches and storm the castle? I don't think this will be likely....most people are sheep and "Don't know, don't care". Apathy and remaining comfortably numb; lulled to silence and ineptitude by long work hours, too many creature comforts, and too many things to fill in the little remaining gaps. The shit I could possible see in my lifetime is the exerting of the Earths resources. This is a vital issue that needs to be addressed NOW. On a personal and societal level. If anyone is up to a really good read, please check out Ishmael by Daniel Quinn; if you're schmoolzing on-line and want some really intelligent and probable thesis to ponder check this site out, www.anthropik.com check out the 30 theses.

P.S.---I'm not on payroll from Daniel Quinn :) but he really puts war in perspective. In indigenous peoples, wars are constant, low-level, not devastating, and are utilized to enforce boundaries that allows each group to live as semi-agragarian hunter/gatherers . They also serve to keep diversity in species a good and constant thing. I agree with these thoughts, all the while finding our current war unjustifiable and repugnant.

OK, I think the problem here is that the kids parents are letting them do all of this shit. If the parents would stand up to the bratty ass kids, then they would survive in the real world. I'm a kid, I don't go and buy the big fad shit. Don't blame the government, or the media, or the corporations, blame the fucking parents for raising inept children.

Pyschedelics don't give you a window into the truth. I mean read Alice in Wonderland, I've never found any deep insights inside of that book. Maybe they ban psychedelics because people get fucked up on it, and drive their car into someone else.

And don't call me brainwashed because that is the last thing that I am.
