wonderful event the biggest green event in the country happens in chedder somerset .

basically most of the green fields areas of glastonbury without the big stages .

have any of you been a steward there before?.. im thinking of doing that..

 

yes I was a steward last year and the year before some of my friends will likely steward this coming year too .
you get very nice free vegan and vegetarian food, you get to meet nice people it gives you something to do , also you can camp earlier I got there I think on the tuesday .

 

thanks.... also whats the deal with the deposit? how do you know if you've got a stewarding job before you send it?

 

as I remember you send them a cheque if they cash it you have the job , then after the event they send you back cheque covering your original deposit and also any overtime you may have done .
