wish i had some bell bottoms that'd be cool i'd like to go to school completely 70s'd out see what ppl'd think no, nevermind then i'll probably start a trend and i couldn't live with myself after that
Make your own. To make the bellbottoms, cut along the seem up to about the knee and sew (Or get your Grandma to ) a triangle of curtain material or something in there. Looks real purty. And tie-dye your own shirts too, just need some cheap shirts, and some dye... and a big bowl. Y'know what, I'm gonna get my creations (And my Grandma's ) and post 'em in the fashion & crafts bit. That should get me some serious respect points Also look in that forum, there's loadsa bitchin' stuff right there.
Yeah, bell bottoms for men... a devious obstacled search my friend. Are you crafty? Use HairyCarey's advice. If not man, thrift stores are your friend.
Nu-Image has a lot of "hippie" clothes and accessories. I go there for incense everytime I'm at the mall. I don't know if they have bell bottoms though.
First, you have to skin a young buck... and then... say bippity boppity boo. They shall magically reappear before me and you... first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a muffin in a baby miscairrage. Hello there... hi... I'm new here. I'm doing fine. Bye.
Id say check at an older fam membes house try an Uncle of grandma mine gave me sum super awsome fabric and I made a disco out fit for my Yokkie It has very small bell bottoms you can have his if you want
I don't know where to buy them, but I have made 4 pairs myself (one fell apart though...). You can actually get a pattern from www.bigflares.com, even though it tends to be targeted more towards teenage girls into the whole townie/prep thing, the pattern is good, and that is what matters. Just make sure you get the angle right and it will flare out. I have expanded the pattern too and it is pretty cool. Also you can get creative with your fabrics. I used an old Grateful Dead concert t-shirt that my sister gave to me (too big for me, really worn out faded holes and all that), I also made a patchwork design out of several shirts from a thrift store... It is cheaper and more resourceful in my opinion to get fabrics from old clothes rather than buying them new from a crafts store or something. It is a form of recycling, or reusing... But it is a relatively simple thing to sew. Just make sure if you sew it by hand you take your time and make the stitches as close as possible or it will fall apart. First pair I made I didn't take my time and they were pretty cool until I washed them and the seems fell apart. I have learned after that that sewing machines are much faster and more efficiant if you take 5 minutes to learn how to use it.
There is a killer store where I live called All Things Groovy. They have tons of hippie clothes, band posters, and smoking supplies! ;-)
