This is kinda a cult film, probably moreso. I think once its released on dvd itll definatly be a cult film cause it was kinda underrated imo, its a huge technical achievement and im glad tim burton is still doing the old stop motion stuff. here is a link to the official site for the dvd www.corpsebridedvd.com

I adored this film when it came out (dragged my friend along!). It's just so strange, and worrying how you really start falling in love with the characters!

i work electronics in a retail store. i've seen it about 20 times since it came out on dvd and i'm not sick of it yet. i keep finding myself saying lines from the movie to my friends who haven't yet seen it and they still laugh cause it's funny even if you have no clue.

Koopa, the film was just nominated for an Academy Award. I was a bit hesitant about the movie as well. Actually I wasn't expecting much since I'm a 24 year old male and don't really think of cartoons when I think of good films. After having watched the DVD though I thought the movie was phenominal. They story is a bit simple but the animation itself is absolutely phenominal. It's brilliant to watch. I rented the DVD then bought it afterwards.

Ahh thats funny, but I watch the movie every night so beat that! Actually the dvd release is excellent who else picked up the special edition? Really cool box art, the special features definatly don't disappoint either.

I've seen the movie about 2 or 3 times. It's defintely the type of movie you can watch over and over again and never get sick of. I pick up new things every time I watch it just because they put so much detail in the animation.

As for the Academy Awards not meaning anything. I guess I can agree with you somewhat but really what animated movie this year hasn't been nominated that was worth it? All the best movies WERE nominated and I bet Corpse Bride will win because it's simply the best animated movie to come out. (And I'm a huge Studio Ghibli fan and fan of Wallace and Gromit)

This was a horrible movie. I thought it was going to be great considering Tim Burton... but it totally sucked. I left the theater after about 40 minutes.

It had nothing on Nightmare Before Christmas

It was a good film, certainly beautiful to look at...but its just a little too short, and it ends quite abruptly. But I guess if I'm grumbling about that, that's a testimony to the quality of what came before. The animation is a vast improvement on "...Nightmare".
