If you watch the video Kimo is visibly upset, he's a good player, i don't think he'd do that shit on purpose. But yeah, the knee thing really did blow your chances, but hey, better luck next year. (maybe we should stop all this cinci/pgh hating and concentrate on the real enemy, the browns ((ravens are included cause they are the 'real' browns)))
It's amazing what officials ruling for the other team can do. Apparently a touchdown isn't a touchdown if you touch another player before you catch the ball, even if that had ZERO effect on your reception of the pass. If you're from SEATTLE that is. Likewise, if you hit the ground before the goal line, you can always put your arms out AFTER you hit the ground, and plant the ball over the line, looking left to right to see if anyone saw you do it. But only if you're from Pittsburgh. They fell apart after the first quarter, but can you blame them? The officials were obviously gonna hand the game to the Steelers.
HCM - I don't do American Football and I could care LESS about the outcome, frankly. But I did see the news, and saw the guy hit the ground, and THEN put the ball forward, a clear contravention of the rules. The referees ruled it a TD and refused to review the play, even though the Seahawks protested vigorously. Sorry, but referees are supposed to be unbiased. The Steelers played better and would have won anyway, but it's not cool for them to win like that.
I do however feel for the ER staffs in Seattle and surrounding areas. The city that loses always gets hit up with way more battered women after the steroid enhanced mutants on retainer lose the Big Game.
Actually what was funny was this. I was moving during the game, and as I drove by a house en route to the storage place, there was a Seahawks banner there. At halftime, there was a Steelers one. I asked the guy if he was Italian and he asked me how I knew.
